Where are you based?
We are a British brand based in the UK, with our production facility based in Ghana. We produce our clothing collections in house via our Accra Ghana production unit.
How are we reducing waste?
The fashion industry is one of the world's largest contributors to textile waste. At Ohema Ohene, we help reduce unnecessary overproduction by carefully managing our inventory and handcrafting many of our garments only after an order has been placed.
This made-to-order approach allows us to produce only what is needed, helping to minimise excess stock and unnecessary waste while maintaining the exceptional craftsmanship our customers expect.
Many made-to-order garments are lovingly handcrafted within 48–72 hours and are then prepared for dispatch. We also hold selected styles and sizes in stock within our UK warehouse for immediate dispatch where available.
By combining ready-to-dispatch stock with made-to-order production, we are able to offer greater flexibility while remaining mindful of waste and overproduction.
Are your garments made to order?
Yes. Many Ohema Ohene garments are handcrafted following receipt of your order rather than being mass-produced.
What are your delivery times?
We ship the majority of our orders from Ghana using DHL Express and UPS, for delivery times please see our delivery page for info.
What payment options do you offer?
We accept all major debit and credit cards as well as PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay.

I don’t see my size can I place a special order?
In most cases yes with the exception of our shoes and sneakers
Are your products true to size?
Yes please see our size charts for body measurements to assist you.
Do you custom make?
You can order any of our clothing and accessory lines (not footwear) in alternative prints by selecting from our available prints. You can also make requests to amend an existing design, longer length, shorter length, specific measurements and so on. Our fees for this service are dependant on the complexity of the request. Please contact us on sales@ohemaohene.com to discuss options.
Do you offer refunds and exchanges?
Yes! On all none custom made orders we offer full refunds where the item/s have been returned unworn and in a salable condition. Items not eligible for return include underwear, ladies bodysuits and jewelry.
Can I send you my own fabric for a custom made order?
Unfortunately not we only use our own fabrics and materials
Our story
After successfully completing a degree in Fashion design technology surface Textiles at London College of fashion; Abenaa then went on to work in the industry developing her technical and commercial understanding.
On returning from the Hong Kong where she worked as a designer and from a short trip to Ghana, Abenaa finalised the concept of the brand.
We've shown at various fashion events, from London, Accra, Lagos, Hong Kong, Milan and Paris. Our signature style is distinctively bold, sophisticated and wearable.
