DELIVERY TIMES & CHARGES

Estimated delivery times following dispatch are:

UK & Europe: 2–6 working days
USA & Canada: 3–8 working days
East Asia & Asia Pacific: 4–10 working days
Rest of the World: 4–10 working days

Deliveries are typically made Monday to Saturday.

Orders placed after 12:00 midday UK time will be processed on the next working day.

Dispatch Information

Ohema Ohene dispatches orders from both our UK warehouse and our Ghana design studio, depending on the item or items ordered.

UK Ready-to-Dispatch Items

Items held at our UK warehouse are typically dispatched on the same working day when ordered before 12:00 midday UK time, subject to stock availability.

Made-to-Order Garments

Many of our pieces are handcrafted to order by our production team at our Ghana design studio. Unless otherwise stated, made-to-order garments are typically ready for dispatch within 5 working days of your order being placed.

Please check the individual product listing for the specific production lead time applicable to your chosen piece.

Handwoven Kente & Fugu Pieces

Please allow up to 6 weeks for the creation of garments made from handwoven Kente or Fugu, in addition to the standard delivery time shown above.

Orders Containing Multiple Items

Where an order contains both ready-to-dispatch and made-to-order items, we may send your order in one or more deliveries to provide the most efficient service.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated automatically after you enter your delivery address at checkout. You will have the opportunity to review the applicable delivery charge and your complete order total before payment is taken.

DUTIES & TAXES

We ship orders via Royal Mail, UPS, DHL Express & FedEx.

For customers outside the UK, your destination country may charge import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees or other import charges before your order can be delivered. These charges are imposed by the customs authorities or other relevant government agencies in your destination country and are not charged, collected or controlled by Ohema Ohene.

Any shipping charges paid to Ohema Ohene relate solely to the transportation of your order from our warehouse to your nominated delivery address and do not include any import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees or other charges that may be levied by your destination country.

Any such import charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Once your order arrives in your country, the courier will contact you by email, SMS or telephone if any customs duties, taxes or clearance charges are due. Your parcel will only be released for delivery once these charges have been paid.

UNPAID IMPORT CHARGES

If you do not pay any applicable import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees or other import charges requested by the courier or customs authorities in your destination country, the courier may automatically return your parcel to Ohema Ohene.

Once the parcel has been received back at our warehouse, any applicable refund will be processed less any costs incurred by Ohema Ohene, including:

the original outbound shipping cost (including where free delivery was offered);
all return shipping charges;
any customs duties, taxes, brokerage, storage or carrier administration fees charged to Ohema Ohene.

If these charges exceed the value of the refund due, no refund will be payable.

Should you wish to have your order re-dispatched after it has been returned to us, a new shipping charge will apply.

REFUSED OR UNCLAIMED PARCELS

If you refuse delivery of your parcel, fail to pay any import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees or other import charges requested by the courier or customs authorities in your destination country, or fail to collect your parcel from the carrier within the required timeframe, this will be treated as a refused shipment and the above deductions will apply.

CHRISTMAS 2026 DELIVERY:

UK/EU/USA Order by 16th December for delivery by 24th December

R.O.T.W Order by 14th December for delivery by 23rd December

NEW YEAR 2027 DELIVERY:

Please note that orders placed between 31st December 2026 and January 1st 2026 shall be processed from January 4th 2027.

TRACKING ORDERS ONLINE:

All customers are sent a Tracking number once their order has been dispatched, please ensure that the parcel can be received and signed for. Orders are delivered Monday-Saturday 08.00-19:00, we suggest where you are at work during these delivery times that you may wish to use your place of work as the delivery address.

In this instance please give your work address as the delivery address, ensuring that you have given your full name and work building name or company name. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that in the event of a failed delivery by the delivery service provider, that a suitable re-delivery time is arranged.

LOST PARCELS

If you have not received your order, we will need to raise a full investigation with our couriers which can take up to 2 weeks to confirm the location of the package before any refund can be applied.

Our story

After successfully completing a degree in Fashion design technology surface Textiles at London College of fashion; Abenaa then went on to work in the industry developing her technical and commercial understanding.

On returning from the Hong Kong where she worked as a designer and from a short trip to Ghana, Abenaa finalised the concept of the brand.

We've shown at various fashion events, from London, Accra, Lagos, Hong Kong, Milan and Paris. Our signature style is distinctively bold, sophisticated and wearable.
